Balterio is an important laminate flooring producer founded in 2001. In 2009 the company launched two innovations: Chromezone© and irregular V-Groove and was awarded the innovation award 2011 at Domotex for its PXP© click system.

Balterio laminate flooring is exported to 85 countries, export counts for 97% of the total volume.
For Balterio, sustainable development is much more than a pure environmental topic. They have created the ‘Embrace the future’ program to find the right balance between ecological impact, social responsibility and economic progress.
In production process the company tries to reduce or avoid waste and where possible to recycle and re-use it. A good example is the company’s own bio mass power plant in which they convert waste material into energy for the production process.
The Balterio laminate floors are PEFC-certified guaranteeing the preservation forests. For each tree that is used in the production process, another one is planted.
Balterio laminate floors contain 10 times less formaldehyde than the required European Standards. We also carry the Blue Angel label for indoor air quality.
The company has already distributors in South Africa, Morocco and Egypt. Balterio is actively searching for distributors in other African countries.
According to experts in the company, there is a trend towards thicker laminate flooring and more complicated finishing’s to give the laminate floor the most natural look and feel in comparison with real wood. Since 2015 the company has had 12mm laminate flooring line in the Balterio collection. Balterio is a real master in producing nature true laminate flooring; we are able to give our floors a lot of different finishing’s like the Chromezone, 3D Wood Effect, Panoramic Design, True to Nature Look.
