Bove generators Company has manufactured generators for over 35 years, with a range up to 2200 kVA. The “LEAN” concept adopted at all production stages allows the manufacturer to reduce cost, in addition to improving the quality and accuracy of the assembled products (Italy-made). Cost reduction allows Bove to offer products to international markets at very competitive prices.
The company runs its manufacturing unit at Battipaglia, Salerno, Italy. The generating sets are powered by Perkins, Cummins, Deutz, Volvo, John Deere, Doosan, Lombardini, Yanmar, Mitsubishi, Honda, Weichai, and FPT engines. The different alternator types include Mecc Alte, Stamford, Leroy Somer,Marelli and Dingol.The company, still family managed, promises quick answers and consistent availability and is seeking distributors for international expansion.
According to Gianluca, Account Manager of Bove Generators, the diesel generator industry trend points towards exploration of “green generation” with hybrid machines already on the market today in different models and generator sets with different types of fuel supply. He adds: “I think the use of generators has remained almost unchanged but the customer’s perception has changed over time due to the recent global crisis which has made customers more price sensitive. whereas the high quality standards that the industry has achieved in almost all its operations, allows one to have highly reliable machines along with pleasing aesthetics.
On recent fascinating projects undertaken by the company, he adds. “Our company is concluding a partnership with one of the biggest hire companies in Europe with a presence all over the world. The collaboration will allow us to develop more machines in line with market requirements.”
According to him, Bove gensets are suitable for the African region because of great strength of the canopy and the frame which are fully electrowelded, the special attention they give to the intake phase and air expulsion makes the gensets suitable for extreme environments with high temperatures.
Gianluca advises diesel generator customers “to rely on a serious and consolidated company, and with after sales service that is just as important as the purchase itself.”
