Butech was created in 2001 as part of the PORCELANOSA Group, with the aim of supporting the work of all of the professionals involved in the ceramic tile-laying sector. The company offers a wide range of materials and construction systems covering the needs of homeowners, installation specialists, builders and architects.
The Ventilated Façade is a multi-layered building envelope consisting of an outer layer made of different materials that is mechanically connected to the inner layer (a new or existing wall made of brick, cement blocks, etc.) using a substructure made of aluminium and a ventilated air gap of varying width (minimum 2 cm) which usually contains the thermal insulation in contact with the inner layer.
Ventilation is produced by upper and lower openings and the presence of open joints over the whole of the envelope.
The purpose of the ventilated air gap is to install insulation material on the outside of the existing building envelope, eliminating thermal bridges ,to create a chimney effect, reducing condensation and protecting against rain and wind, keeping the insulation and inner layer dry besides the aesthetic component which is their distinctive footprint.
Juan Saura from the Export Department says that their façade system is suitable for any place in the world and choosing a ventilated system, energetic savings are guaranteed, with an innovative system, full of advantages, and combined with the successful tiles from Porcelanosa Group.
He concludes and says that their products are available in African countries.
