DSPA – leading manufacturer of aerosol generators

DSPA is a worldwide leading manufacturer of highly innovative aerosol generators which can be used for fire extinguishing and suppression purposes.

Since 1987, they started the development of their range of products with the intention to replace Halon (BCF). The ban on Halon fire-extinguishing systems originates from the Montreal Protocol, which was signed worldwide in 1987.

DSPA fire extinguishing and suppression systems work volumetric-ally and affect the combustion process.Their aerosol generators consist of a solid aerosol-forming compound in a non-pressurized red canister which aerosolizes finely divided solid particles. The finely divided solid particles is the aerosol fire-extinguishing agent.

Unlike many other extinguishing agents, DSPA aerosol interferes with the chain reaction in the fire, leaving oxygen levels intact. Official tests and assessments have shown that the aerosol produced by the DSPA-units is uniquely safe, non-toxic, non-corrosive, non-conductive and environmentally friendly. DSPA systems do not deplete the oxygen content nor does it affect CO or CO2 levels in any harmful way for humans or animals. In 2012 DSPA Aerosol was positively reviewed on the basis of ozone depletion potential, global warming potential, toxicity, flammability, and exposure potential which resulted in official SNAP listing by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

Compared to other conventional systems, DSPA aerosol generators are unpressurized, neither do they increase pressure inside the room or object during discharge. This makes transportation, installation and use, uniquely easy and safe- eliminating the need for expensive pipe work thus requiring far less maintenance.

DSPA fire extinguishing and suppression systems are…

  • Easy to install & maintain
  • Very efficient (only a small amount of aerosol is needed)
  • Very safe (DSPA units are not pressurized or toxic)
  • Very cost efficient (DSPA requires no expensive pipe work)
  • Guaranteed for a serviceable life time of at least 15 years
  • Are very small, saving much space in and around your building.
  • Operational from -50°C to +75°C with humidity up to 98%.

Using a network of affiliates and strategic partners, their products are being sold in countries all over the globe whilst being used by governments, oil and gas, renewable energies and various other industries.

They strive to provide exceptional value to their customers with an intense focus on quality, reliability, service and innovative product development.

One of DSPA’s goals is to create a network of distributors with worldwide coverage.
