The Nairobi based contractor began operations a few years before Kenya gained independence from Britain. Then known as Karsan Manji & Brothers, the firm initially handled modest projects before gradually embracing larger and more complex ones. It was in 1970 that the firm became known as D. Manji Construction. In 1996, it was incorporated as a Limited Liability Company. The company is registered with the Ministry of Public Works as a Category ‘A’ contractor, making it eligible for virtually projects of any magnitude.
