Leo Engineering Services L.L.C. has evolved from humble beginnings since 1996 and today caters to the various demands of the construction sector in the UAE and the wider MENA region. They are a professional engineering, contracting and trading firm based in Dubai, with a workshop and ware housing facility in Dubai Industrial City (D.I.C). They are actively involved in Rental and Trading of various kinds of Industrial Pumps and accessories, and services related to de-watering and ground-water control.
They deal (rent, sales and after-sales service) in all kinds of pumps for various industries such as Oil & Gas, Marine, Food & Agriculture, Sewerage, Directional Drilling, Piling, Civil Construction, Electro-mechanical works, Facility Management, etc and for different applications such as Bentonite slurry, Sludge, Bilge, sandy sea-water, sewage, ground water, treated sewage effluent, storm water, chilled water, sweet water (ponds, lakes & rivers), etc.
The company is just entering Africa. They are already in Sudan and have already established contacts with Kenya and Ethiopia where they will soon enter. The company only does direct sales. An example is the huge floating pump in Sudan which is being sold directly without any agents and this will be the same for other countries that they plan to sell in.
The unique feature in the Leo floating pump is that, it was designed keeping in mind the rising and decreasing level of African waters and also their fluctuating currents. It reduces all expenses for civil works and gets rid of the pumping station factor. All one has to do is let the pump float and it will adjust accordingly to the current and the level of water.
David William’s advice to potential clients is “make sure your engineering is right. Make sure you know what you really, exactly need,(in terms of calculations, targets, nature’s reaction, possible turnouts .etc) before you even decide to buy ”.
The company predicts a brighter future for their products. This includes simpler products with improved technology and innovative ideas, reducing costs and human efforts. They might come up with a computer operated, robotic pump soon.
They have recently associated with Cornell Pumps from USA which is an industry leader for their niche market range of long-lasting pumps designed for the toughest pumping conditions.
