Metka Group, a Greek based company has announce the signing of a new 28-month EPC contract with Amandi Energy Ltd for the construction of a new power plant in Ghana. The company is in consortium with General Electric (GE) to deliver the 192MW CCGT power plant in Takoradi.
The US$175.7m power project will commence its implementation upon completion of financing which is currently under finalization. Metka Group’s backlog stands at approx. US$1.4bn, 68% of which accounts to international projects.
