OneSubsea wins major gas contract

American based company OneSubsea is set to deliver a $170 million gas field project in Egypt after landing the deal.

Consequently,he firm will undertake various activities including procurement, engineering and construction of the Zohr gas field.

In the meantime, OneSubsea which is fully owned by Schlumberger will supply and oversee the production systems for the first stage of the gas field.

Consequently, OneSubsea president says Zorh is the largest gas field to be discovered in Mediterenian Sea.

Meanwhile the president added that they have stead first experience ein supplying gas fies equipment and they look forward to approach the project in a professional way which includes a systematic flow assurance.

The company was awarded after the long search of gas field that was carried out by FEED study by OneSubsea.

The company discovered the gas fields with a team from Eni and Petrobel. Eventually, they developed the subsea equipment architecture and control system that helped in validating and handling of high gas volumes.

That aside, The gas field will see Egypt become one of the leading gas supplier in Africa.
