Qsolar was established in 2007 in the United Kingdom by the current CEO, Andreas Tapakoudes and is headquartered in Calgary with offices in London (UK) and manufacturing operations in Shanghai (China).
The company manufactures unique solar panels using innovative methods and technology. PRODUCTS
1. Scooter
The 90 watt top will extend your driving time 10-15KM per day. This scooter solar panel is the most efficient combination available producing three to four times greater output than companies using thin film technologies, and 50% lighter than the competitor crystalline photovoltaic panels.
2. SB2 portable charger
This can be used to power anything from tablets, smart phones, and camera to speakers, mp3 player and LED lights.
3. Golf Cart QDRIVE
This is a golf cart solar roof panel kit which is the most efficient combination on the market which produces three to four times greater output than companies using thin film technologies, and 50% lighter than the competitor using crystalline photovoltaic panels.
4. Panels
These are unique solar-energy products which are manufactured without glass.
They include the Ultra light which are the lightweight panels designed to be 40% lighter than conventional glass modules while offering the same mechanical strength.
Flexible this is a semi-flexible solar panel that is built on ultra-thin backsheet. It can be installed in a curve of up to 30 degrees.
Utility-Scale it uses 10mm polymer frame as compared to the conventional 40mm aluminium frame but still has the same strength as a glass module.
Color one can choose from color backsheet which can be changed to match any colour in our color palette giving the panel a unique custom appearance.
The full-Color QS-R is our most vibrant option. We can not only coat the backsheet but also the solar cells in any color.

In August of 2013 I had a client that wanted gray solar panels for her home, at the time the amount of providers that offer coulored solar panels where limited. After several emails and quotations I finally decided, to buy from QSolar, they presented a fake TÜV certification and I wrongly didn’t check on it. The 1st of October 2013 I bought US$6,000 of coulored solar panels to Gregory Nepse supposedly the COO of QSOlar.
I new the product was of low quality the minute I saw the panels, the materials are poor, the encapsulation gots yellow on the first week.
The panels are not rigid, they don’t even have glass! In a few months it started
appearing Hot Spots.
Since the first day of the arrival I wrote them, and The worst is that the sales man and other contacts (Dricus De Rooij, Jin Li) but they don’t even answer the emails.
They don’t assume their responsibility and they don’t keep their guarantee promises. Now my client is claiming refund, and I have to assume responsibility to change all the solar panels.
