Their Transformer Business unit designs and manufactures innovative and technically challenging Transformers for various Industries like Oil & Gas, Steel, Cement, Mining, Railways, Sugar and Solar Application etc. They have made a breakthrough in designing a series of transformers first time in India using unique and cutting edge technologies. The state-of-art facility at Chakan, near Pune in Maharashtra State of India, has the capacity to manufacture various ranges of Oil filled transformers up to & including – 45MVA, 145kV class and Dry type transformers up to 10MVA 36kV Class. They have developed and manufactured a series of SCOTT – TEE Transformers & Load Balancing Units for one of the world’s largest Oil & Gas Companies.

They have supplied transformers to more than 30 countries including; America, Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia. In Africa, they have supplied in South Africa, Zambia, Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, Guinea, Nigeria, Seychelles and Egypt. Currently they are looking for partners and agents in various African countries.

Kamal Kumar Udasi, Marketing manager comments on the emerging trends concerning the product that dry type transformers are now widely preferred over Oil type transformers in the industrial applications. Kumar also advices potential buyer to consider their products for they offer solution approach and work as a supplier partner with their customers.

They have been involved in several projects including the Natural Ester Filled 630kVA Distribution Transformer for Tata Power, India. In comparison to the conventional mineral oil filled distribution transformers, this fluid provides improved fire safety for the densely populated areas. The fluid is made from a carbon neutral renewable resource, is biodegradable, non-toxic and non-hazardous in soil and water. Eliminate any risk of pool fires in the electrical installation as they are self-extinguishing.

They have also participated in exhibitions such as Hannover Messe – 2014 (Germany), CamEnergy-2014 Cambodia, Project Qatar – 2014, ADIPEC – Abu Dhabi – 2013, and India Expo – 2014.
