Roca is an over 100 year’s old company in the business of manufacturing and distribution of bathroom and kitchen ware systems including Basins, Bidets, Toilets, Urinals, Smart Toilets, Shower trays, Baths, Shower enclosures, Shower spaces & cabins, Spas, Faucets, Kitchen sinks, Bathroom & kitchen furniture and accessories.
Furthermore, Roca also has Mirrors, Lighting systems, Installation systems, and other ceramic products such as Slop hoppers, Laundry sinks, Squatting pans, and Tiles.
The company was first established as a manufacturer of iron radiators for domestic heating in Gavà , near Barcelona. Thereafter it extended its portfolio with the production of boilers and then baths in 1929. Seven years later, the company embarked on the manufacture of vitreous china bathroom appliances and brassware in 1954.
In the 90s the Group developed the first step of international expansion, mainly based on setting up commercial branches and signing agreements with local leading brands. In the late ’90s particularly, in 1999, Roca acquired the Swiss Keramik Holding Laufen, a fourth global manufacturer of its days, and this facilitated Roca’s global outreach. Today, Roca is a global brand with a presence in more than 170 markets in Europe, America, Asia, Oceania, and Africa, supplied by its 78 production plants.
