SureSet permeable resin bound paving is ideal for applications such as driveways, pathways, patios, roof terraces, swimming pools, car parks and decorative areas.
The resin bound system is a blend of specially selected aggregates mixed with a clear resin binder which when cured will provide a smooth surface with no loose stone. The SureSet paving is mixed on site and cold applied, using the high quality clear resin binder to coat the aggregate particles prior to laying. Resin Bound is then hand laid to a smooth and compact finish offering a number of performance and operational benefits. When combined it is inherently a strong and durable finish.
The finished depth usually varies between 12mm and 24mm. The depth is dependent on the stone size in the mix and the application it is being used for. The resin bound system allows the mixing of different sizes and colours of aggregate to give a wide variety of appearances and textures which is not available with many other systems.
Being a flexible surfacing material, resin bound paving is highly resistant to cracking, making it an ideal solution for both new and refurbishment projects. Resin bound surfacing requires low maintenance – it only needs to be swept or power washed at least twice a year, to avoid the buildup of detritus and prevent the growth of moss or algae.
