Target started life in 1996 as a third firing specialist dedicated to the design and production of applied decoration for the modern industrialized production of ceramic wall and floor tiles.
By continually developing innovative techniques and new forms of expression, over the years they have been able to use ceramic decoration as a means for giving aesthetic expression through colour, texture and pattern to the qualities of cultures, people and places.
Today, they are the cutting-edge business that combines a dynamic entrepreneurial approach with the use of modern technology and up-to-the-minute understanding of a changing market. In recent years the firm’s Managing Director Fausto Mucci has focused on strengthening and renewing the Target brand – Design Surfaces – as well as launching a new brand, Unica – Supreme Surfaces.
The aim of the new brand Unica: Supreme Surfaces is to offer a wide choice of decorative options currently unavailable on the market and perfect for any indoor or outdoor setting. Unica brings together the best in design and a contemporary mood in a unique style that interprets the classic tradition with a contemporary twist.
They are proud to have a graphical section always with an eye on new tendencies of fashion and design: their designer’s team takes out new ideas of these fields to get inspired and create collections which are always up-to-date, all different but with the possibility to be laid in a mix & match design because rectified and modular.
All raw materials and workings on the tiles are made in Italy, the decorations are handmade in their production dept. in Fiorano Modenese, and for this reason each and every one of their tiles is very tactile and materical. Base tiles are very high-range technical full body porcelain tiles: this permits our collections to be laid on the wall but also on floors and even for commercial purposes. They are presently eager to meet new partners from Africa.
They have participated in several exhibitions including; Cersaie fair, Mosbuild 2013 Coverings 2014, Fuorisalone 2014, they are also looking forward to participate at Architect at Work Kortrijk 2015
