The Le Méridien Amritsar Hotel Project in India has officially opened to the public. The French hotel brand’s picturesque development location is about 1.5 kilometers from the Sri Guru Ram Das Jee International Airport. Moreover, its location immerses the hotel in lush green fields accompanied by serene sunrises and inspiring sunsets.
Back in 2013, a top company official revealed that the Le Méridien brand targets to open five new hotels in India, within the next 3-5 years. Currently, the brand boasts an impressive portfolio with properties in Cochin, New Delhi, as well as Jaipur. In addition to Pune, Bangalore, Mumbai and Chennai. In total, Le Méridien is represented by 105 properties, through 50 countries. The brand got acquired by Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide Inc, in 2005. Don Elliot, Regional Vice-President noted that the brand aims to add approximately 1,000 rooms capacity across the region, within five years. Thus far, the Le Méridien Amritsar Hotel Project stands as the brand’s 11th property in India.

Le Méridien Amritsar Hotel Project’s Luxurious Rooms Capacity
In total, the hotel features 147 guest rooms, with both suites and family rooms available. An official statement noted that the rooms’ design aims to inspire as well as offer tranquil respite and relaxation, especially from the hectic pace, and hassle of the hectic city. Quite impressively, the Le Méridien Amritsar Hotel includes the Le Méridien Hub. In a nutshell, its concept redesigns the hotel lobby into a space dedicated to social gatherings.
Within the hotel, each room includes a Le Méridien signature bed and designer bath amenities alongside a 55-inch LED TV. Additionally, guests will also have access to an open-air pool, a 24-hour fitness center, and a rejuvenating spa.
Taking it a notch higher, the exquisite hotel further offers multi-compatible and interactive meeting spaces, that span across 20,000 square feet. These include full conference facilities with high-definition (HD) LED Screens, in-built projectors, and high-speed internet connection. Moreover, the development offers an additional grand ballroom, alongside six meeting rooms.
