Governor Rocha expressed his gratitude to Tetakawi’s businessmen in his message. He thanked them for choosing to set up operations in Sinaloa. This is notable since the group has manufacturing parks in Empalme, Guaymas, as well as Hermosillo, Sonora, Saltillo, Coahuila, and Queretaro.

He restated that the Tetakawi Group and CPP, among other companies, choose to invest in Sinaloa. They would have their investment protected by his government.
However, Luis Felipe Seldner, the president of Grupo Tetakawi, noted that Mazatlan is already an established player in the tourism and real estate sectors. He said that the only thing missing was the manufacturing sector.
