New Portuguese offshore wind farm project proposal which the current government has plans in installing at the Portuguese coast has been seen to not bring about any crucial impact to city of Vila Nova De Gaia provided that the new off shore wind farm project will be at a distance of 30 kilometers from the Portuguese coast. This wind farm project aims to serve the same purpose as the WindFloat Atlantic in producing energy for the country.
The socialist mayor went ahead and gave an explanation of the proposal of the new Portuguese offshore wind farm project and pointed out that they have a proposal for a location which is situated approximately 30 kilometers from the coast and therefore the most crucial impact of the project which is the visual aspect has not yet been verified. He further stated that this does not mean that this does not mean that there is not some kind of impact namely on the fishing activities. Furthermore the mayor went ahead to say that the fishing associations were being heard.

The mayor assured that they would follow the processes pit in place correctly and also stated that the impact on their case was not as much brutal.
