Electric mobility company Nexzu Mobility on proposed setting up an industrial park for a fleet of smart electric vehicles (EV) in Gujarat and plans to invest Rs. 5,000 crore in the project over the next 10 years.
Nexzu Mobility, which has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the state government says the project will create more than 5,000 jobs. “Nexzu Mobility will invest Rs. 5.000 crore over the next 10 years to build a fleet of smart electrical vehicles in Gujrat, which is expected to employ over 5,000 people,” the company said in a statement.
The proposed park will serve as a platform to provide end-to-end solutions to businesses, professionals, owners and owners and users of electric vehicles (EVs), among others, enabling an ecosystem in a concentrated area and sharing of infrastructure.

The planned smart EV Park will be an industrial park with ready-to-use production facilities. It will also contain shared testing facilities, shared research and development units as well as residential, educational and healthcare facilities.

The company said that the park will also have facilities to train professionals in the latest developments in electronics. It will also train on battery manufacturing, powertrains and other electrical vehicle components.
In addition to the training the company stated the importance of the electric vehicles. They continued to state that the electric vehicles are a key pillar of India’s efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. They emphasized on how the electric vehicles are being accepted by commercial vehicle and passenger vehicle customers.
The Chief Commercial Officer of Nexzu Mobility, Chintamani Sardesai, stated that the center will support OEMs manufacturers. These include commercial and passenger vehicles in various segments as well battery manufacturers.
