Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo has sanctioned and funded the construction of pivotal roads across Anambra State in a determined stride toward realizing his vision of fostering livability and prosperity within the state.
The Total Cost And Completion Dates For The Construction Of These Roads In Anambra State.
Anambra State Executive Council (ANSEC) recently authorized the disbursement of a total of N118,815,005.96. This is inclusive of Preliminaries, Contingencies, and a 7.5% VAT of N8,911,125.45. The construction of Premier Road in Onitsha, an endeavor entrusted to Alitho Nig. Ltd., receives the allocation of these funds. The state’s Commissioner for Information, Paul Nwosu, announced a slated completion date for this project. The completion date at four weeks from the initiation of the mobilization fee payment.
Further propelling this infrastructural rejuvenation, ANSEC has endorsed the provision of N1,850,000,000.00. This will be for the revitalization of the Ukwuorji Awka – Umuenechi Village – Ifite Nibo – Isiagu Road. It will complete a 2.1km Spur to Zik Avenue. J.Quarison Int’l Ltd has undertaken the execution of this venture. This includes a stipulated completion timeline of five months from the activation of the mobilization fee payment.
Notably, the reconstruction of Port Harcourt Street in Onitsha has also gained the council’s seal of approval, securing N1,800,000,000.00 in funds for which FEROTEX Construction Company has been entrusted with this revitalization initiative. The projection of its completion is within a span of five months from the commencement of the mobilization fee payment.
Additionally, the comprehensive reconstruction of Miss Elems Road in Onitsha is in progress and Mashuchun International Ltd has secured the project at a cost of N430,381,386.39, with an anticipated completion timeframe of three months from the initiation of the mobilization fee payment.

Through these strategic investments in road infrastructure, the groundwork is being laid for a more vibrant and prosperous Anambra.
