Leading and visionary developer, Red Sea Global has successfully completed a 750K Solar Panels Installation In KSA. The project also includes the installation of five solar stations that will be dedicated to the operation of the Red Sea Project’s first phase.
In a nutshell, the development will feature 16 hotels, entertainment as well as retail venues, within Phase One. An official statement noted that one of the solar station’s locations will be near the Six Senses Southern Dunes. Alongside the Red Sea Resort and Spa, of which will feature as the first-ever solar-powered hotel and resort within the phase. The other two solar stations will be located near the Sehybarah Resort on Sheybarah Island and the Desert Rock Mountain Resort.
As a whole, the ambitious tourism development project will span across an impressive 28,000 kilometers squared area of water and land. The luxury tourism destination will include 90 islands, off the northwest coast of Saudi Arabia. In total, it boasts a USD 20 billion investment with a great focus on sustainability.

While commenting on the project, Red Sea Global’s CEO noted that the company remains committed to adopting a different approach. John Pagano highlighted that the development will be fully-power by renewable energy. Furthermore, the project is completely independent from the national grid. This, in turn, highlights the tourist destination development as a. first-of-its-kind.
Quite impressively, all transport vehicles that will be used by visitors will be fully powered by solar energy. This will include arrival, and pick up at the Red Sea International Airport. In addition to movements within the development site as well as between, and, to nearby islands.
Taking it a step further, Red Sea Global will carry out further implementation of the world’s largest battery storage facility. Official reports noted that its capacity will be 1,2000MWh. As a result, the project will serve as a significant contribution to the actualization of the Saudi Vision 2030 targets.
