Connect at Integra 61 is an ongoing project that is going  to be the largest speculatively developed industrial warehouse unit located in the North East for over ten years and it is going to fill a very critical void there is in the regional supply of warehouses. The Connect at Integra 61 is a combined development that is associated with Sunrise Real Estate and Citrus Durham. The MP of Durham, Mary Kelly Foy, was invited to the site to come and take a visit where she marked a major milestone for the project by signing a steel beam which would be the first of 1200 tonnes of steel that would be used in the progress of the project.

The Setting Up of Connect at Integra 61

Connect Integra 61 will be mixed-use and it is going to be consisting of a total of five speculative units that shall range from 43,000 to 298,000 square feet it is going to provide a wide range of accommodation for companies warehouses to a very crucial area of the UK where there is high demand on warehouses but the supply is low on the contrary. This project which is also known as Connect 298, is going to be the largest ever industrial warehouse unit in the North East for ten years.

GMI Construction is the contractor of this project has made quite some progress on the works of the site at the mixed-use scheme. This has been clearly indicated by them having completed units in the summer of the year 2023 fast approaching.

Connect is located at Integra 61 which is one of the most significant regeneration projects and it will be going for a total cost of 400 million sterling pounds. This being a home to Amazon Fulfillment Center the development and completion of this phase will meet the needs of any company that will be seeking space that is already under construction. The various units of Connect now tend to play a very crucial role in representing development at Integra 61, this is in combination with the wider scheme to meet the needs of the high demand for quality and sufficient accommodation for industrial use in the region known for its low supply of such.
