Construction has commenced on a 324-unit workforce-oriented apartment project dubbed Alta Citron in Davenport, Florida. Wood Partners is building the project within the Orlando area as the latest series of its market-rate and luxury multifamily communities. Therefore, it will be the developer’s seventeenth project in the region.
Alta Citron appeals to professionals and families seeking a live-work-play community. Especially since it’s at an ideal location that’s a half mile south of Interstate. Residents can also enjoy open-air retail and dining options at the nearby Posner Park regional lifestyle centre. Moreover, Alta Citron’s location which is at a major interchange grants residents short commutes to various employers.
The property is only a short drive from regional distribution centres for Amazon, FedEx, UPS, and Walmart. Furthermore, the expanded AdventHealth Celebration Hospital and Orlando Health Reunion Village campuses are nearby. Residents will have easy access to Walt Disney World and Orlando’s Tourism Corridor as well.

Development plans for the Alta Citron community
Upon completion, Alta Citron will offer 324 unique apartment homes with a mix of one, two, and three-bedroom floor plans. Each home will have luxury finishes such as white quartz countertops, stainless steel kitchen appliances, and cabinetry with under-cabinet lighting. Additional features include brushed nickel fixtures, modern pendant lighting, and a sophisticated kitchen tile backsplash.
A wide range of amenities awaits Alta Citron residents, including a screened lanai overlooking a resort-style pool with cabanas. They will also have grilling stations, outdoor fire pits, hammocks, a tot lot, and a pet park with pet washing stations. Inside the clubhouse, residents will have access to a coffee bar, a social lounge with billiards and an indoor/outdoor bar.
A 24-hour fitness centre with a spin/FitnessOnDemand space will be available on the property. In addition, there will also be private conference rooms, co-working spaces, and a smart package centre. The developer expects pre-leasing for the new community to commence by autumn this year. While the first set of tenants will move into the community by December.Â
