A build-to-rent (BRT) single-family community dubbed Amavi Aster Ridge is currently under construction in North Phoenix, Arizona. Recently, Mill Creek Residential broke ground on the residential property which will bring a total of 177 townhomes to the location. Mill Creek began its expansion into Arizona last year. However, this new project will be the developer’s first single-family BRT community within the Phoenix area.
The Amavi Aster Ridge development site is adjacent to the existing Anthem community, at 4288 W Denali Lane. Its location is also in close proximity to Interstate 17 and Anthem Way. Therefore, residents will have easy access to nearby attractions within the vicinity, including lakes, nature preserves and parks. In addition, the Taiwan Semiconductor campus is only about 15 minutes away from the new community. The growing employment sector in the Anthem/Deer Valley area will be anchored by this new $40 billion Semiconductor campus.

Development plans for Amavi Aster Ridge in Arizona
Amavi Aster Ridge will be developed as a gated community with homes featuring attached garages and private backyards. It will include a mix of two- and three-bedroom townhouses. Two-bedroom townhomes range from 1,200 to 1,400 sq ft, while 25 three-bedroom homes measure approximately 1,500 sq ft. The developer expects the first set of occupants to move in by February 2024.
Shared amenities at Amavi Aster Ridge will include a clubhouse, outdoor pool, park, fitness studio, and green spaces. In addition, the community also showcases modern streetscapes and well-maintained common areas. Homes offer stainless steel appliances, wood plank-style flooring, granite countertops, and smart thermostats. Residents will also have access to controlled guest-access technology, ceiling fans and in-home, as well as washers and dryers.
Mill Creek’s V. Sam Griffin said Amavi Aster Ridge would be the only professionally managed townhome community in Northern Phoenix. Therefore Griffin said his company was eager to start the development and help meet the region’s growing demand for quality housing.
