Construction is nearing completion at the Central Park West, a mixed-use condominium complex in the Irvine Business Complex, Los Angeles.
The Lennar Corp. project is located at the intersection of Jamboree Road and Michelson Drive. It consists of four interconnected buildings with a total of 285 one-, two-, and three-bedroom dwellings. All this above approximately 9,800 square feet of commercial uses and parking.
The project is being designed by Kevin Tsai Architecture and will consist of numerous interconnected seven story skyscrapers with shared podium level amenity decks and pedestrian pathways.

“The buildings embodies a simple palette with vertical standing seam metal panel in various shades of black and deep charcoal, smooth white stucco, grey textured plaster, and warm accents of wood,” according to a story on the Kevin Tsai Architecture website.
“The smooth white façade on top appears to float above the darker base of the building. It also has larger glazing elements and inset patios to optimise light and air. All this while also maintaining an appropriate level of privacy for the tenants.”
According to the website of landscape architectural company C2 Collaborative, the seven story towers would be placed over a common seven story garage, which will also be crowned with a two-acre pool and amenities deck.
A sales website for Central Park West, the condominiums range in size from 1,278 to 2,548 square feet. Additionally, prices start in the mid $700,000s and the most expensive apartments seeking more than $1.2 million. According to Tsai, the majority of the residences in the project’s first three towers have already been sold.
