A mixed-use apartment community dubbed Cormac Apartments in Charleston’s upper peninsula, South Carolina has been opened by Quarterra Multifamily.

The developer formed a joint venture with Cresset Partners to build the new apartment community. As a result, the project was capitalized in their Cresset Diversified Qualified Opportunity Zone (QOZ) Fund I.

The Cormac Apartments’ location, positioned at 1310 Meeting Street Road, connects effortlessly to Downtown, Mt. Pleasant, and North Charleston. It’s also less than a quarter mile from Interstate 26 and about 1 mile away from Ravenel Bridge.

Therefore, the community provides residents with easy access to employment centres within the vicinity. Additionally, there are several nearby local attractions such as The Refinery, Pacific Box & Crate, and The Wonderer.

It also incorporates two distinct design schemes, featuring custom cabinetry, quartz or granite countertops, hardwood-inspired flooring, and pendant lighting. Kitchens include tile backsplashes and under-cabinet lighting, while baths have oversized tubs or walk-in showers with full tile surrounds.

Residents have the opportunity to relish a comprehensive amenity lineup at the Cormac Apartments. Moreover, an eighth-floor rooftop terrace, boasting a butler kitchen, offers breathtaking views of Downtown Charleston and the Ravenel Bridge.

The fourth floor comprises three elevated courtyards, with one showcasing a resort-style pool and clubhouse. The clubhouse itself accommodates multiple coworking spaces. Additionally, residents can benefit from a state-of-the-art fitness centre, a bike storage room, package lockers, and rentable storage spaces.

Quarterra’s President, Jeff Harris, described the Cormac Apartments as a thoughtfully designed property with first-class finishes and quality amenities. He also said the ground floor retail component would give residents easy access to attractive retail and dining offerings.

Therefore it brings retail directly to their doorstep, in addition to the existing offerings within the neighbourhood.
