JPI has begun work on the first phase of Jefferson Loyd Park project, the development that will bring 450-units multifamily residences to Grand Prairie, Texas. The new community, which will consist of eight 3-story buildings spread across 25 acres and will have urban-style design. Residents will enjoy first-rate community facilities such as a resort-style pool with cabanas, a fitness facility with virtual workout class options, and easy access to Loyd Park and Joe Pool Lake.

Blake Taylor, Senior Vice President and Regional Development Partner at JPI, expressed his eagerness for the project, saying, “That this is exciting project for us all. The new 450-units multifamily residences will be located between Debbie Lane and Broad Street on Highway 360, Jefferson Loyd Park benefits from the strategic location of the State Highway 360, accommodating approximately 27,000 cars each day. Residents of the new 450-units multifamily homes in Grand Prairie will enjoy the convenience of a diverse range of shopping and dining options within a 5-mile radius like, The Home Depot, Super Target, Kroger, Starbucks, Chase Bank, and much more.

First Move-in date set for 450-unit multifamily homes in Grand Prairie

The first phase of 450-unit multifamily homes in Grand Prairie, Jefferson Loyd Park, is set to welcome its first residents in January 2025, with the subsequent phase two slated to commence construction in late 2023. Grand Prairie’s District 4 Mayor Pro Tem, John Lopez, expressed his confidence in JPI’s exceptional track record, stating, “Jefferson Loyd Park Phase 1 is JPI’s third project in Grand Prairie in 18 months. Thus, we are familiar with their quality and level of work. Our top priority is to improve the community’s quality of life, and we believe that this new project will do so.”

Happy State Bank is the project’s financier, Demarest is the architect, and Kimley Horn is the civil engineer. JPI now has over 7,600 houses under development, including Loyd Park, with over 6,200 units under construction in North Texas alone.
