Madison, a 77-unit luxury condo complex in San Francisco, has been officially opened by Lennar Corp. The land is part of The San Francisco Shipyard, a master-planned community featuring four condominium collections.
In a market where the median price for condominiums surpasses $1 million, Madison’s houses begin in the upper $300,000s, according to Michael Hochstoeger, Lennar’s Director of Operations for the company’s Bay Area Urban division, in prepared remarks.

Madison, located at 52 Kirkwood Ave., has one-bedroom, one-bath apartments ranging in size from 514 to 826 square feet, as well as studios ranging in size from low- to mid-500 square feet. All units include fully equipped kitchens, large walk-in closets, and semi-ensuite bathrooms with large windows and plenty of natural light. The condo apartments in Madison will be with open floorplans to maximise space.
Madison also contains Lennar’s Everything’s Included programme, which provides tenants with complimentary extras including stainless-steel kitchen appliances, energy-efficient electric washer and dryer, hardwood flooring, air conditioner and heater.

The amenity package for the neighbourhood includes a clubhouse, a fitness facility, a greenbelt with grass areas, a grilling area, a playground, and on-site paths. Future residents will also have access to The San Francisco Shipyard’s amenities, which include, among other things, a park overlooking the San Francisco Bay, various picnic spots, a huge courtyard, bike storage facilities, dog washing stations, common-area lounges, and fireplaces.
Madison is located in the Hunters Point area, 5 miles from downtown San Francisco, 6 miles from the Financial District, 9 miles from San Francisco International Airport, and 10 miles from the Golden Gate Bridge.
