The City of Woodbury, in collaboration with Inspira Health, is thrilled to announce plans for the Woodbury Health and Education Innovation District, a transformative $250 million project. This Innovation District, set to be established on the former Woodbury hospital campus, promises to revitalize the region’s healthcare and education landscape.
At the heart of this ambitious initiative are several key components. The development will bring market-rate housing, a Center for Innovation in Community Health, a hotel conference center, restaurant, convenient retail options, and senior housing, aims to harmonize health and economic development.
The planning process has been inclusive, with over 50 interviews involving Inspira, the City of Woodbury, elected officials, community members, educational institutions, and potential developers. Dynamis Advisors, known for transforming former hospital campuses, conducted these interviews. Discussions with developers for various components of the development will continue through October, ensuring the right partners are onboard.

CBRE, the leading healthcare real estate advisory firm, has assumed the role of master developer for Inspira, guiding the project’s progress and discussions with potential developers. This project’s alignment with the City’s existing Redevelopment plan ensures a unified vision for the Woodbury Health and Education Innovation District.
