Post Chicago, a 10-story, 431-bed co-living complex, has recently opened a model unit, according to Chicago developer Structured Development. The complex which is Chicago’s largest co-living development is located at 853 W. Blackhawk.

It features 107 residential units for students, corporate transferees, and other people looking for flexible, turnkey accommodation. Each unit has two to four bedrooms that are completely furnished.

For individuals who don’t have their own ensuite bathroom, co-living residents share access to a bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and a washer/dryer in the unit. The units may be leased on an individual basis for rentals beginning at $1,375 per month.

Along with the co-living spaces, Post Chicago will also have 19 standard unfurnished studios, and two-bedroom apartments available for rent, with rates beginning at $1,799.

The development features a full range of building amenities, such as a fitness center, and common areas for working and socializing.

In addition, it features a rooftop deck with grilling stations, a bike room with a repair station, and a package room. Cable and high-speed internet are also included in the monthly rent. For resident use, 43 paid parking spaces will be offered.

Post Chicago tenants will also have total access to the services and activities. A resident services coordinator will thus be based there to assist in planning group activities and weekly cleaning service.

The building will be managed and leased by Tripalink. The company offers high-quality and contemporary housing alternatives across the United States. It currently has over 8,000 beds available nationwide.

One of three residential structures in Wendelin Park

Post Chicago is reportedly one of three residential structures being developed in Wendelin Park.

One of the three developments, The Seng which has a total of 34-unit all-affordable condos, has already been completed. Post Chicago will be second to be completed while the Foundry, a 27-story, 327-unit market rate rental tower will debut in early 2024.
