The Apsley community, a 19 story luxury senior living property  at Manhattan’s Upper West Side, in New York is now open. The project is a result of a joint venture between three developers; Sunrise Senior Living, Hines and Welltower. However, The Apsley is only the second luxury senior living community developed by the joint venture in Manhattan. The trio had previously completed and opened Sunrise at East 56th, a 17 story senior housing community in December 2021.

The Apsley community, is at an ideal location on 2330 Broadway between 84th and 85th streets. It offers 80 assisted living and 76 memory care residences. Sunrise’s COO, Pascal Dachauffour said the property’s design utilizes a hospitality forward approach, which also focuses on wellbeing. Therefore, he said residents at the senior living community will have access to customized services and amenities. Additionally, the developers also partnered with New York City arts and cultural institutions to offer classes, lectures, and musical performances. Residents can also enjoy access  to museums and Broadway shows.
