Construction has commenced on High 5 Entertainment’s first development in Texas’ Dallas-Fort Worth area dubbed The Farm in Allen. High 5 Entertainment and the city of Allen formed a partnership to develop the new family-friendly entertainment venue. Recently, they hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for the 3-acre project, situated at the southeast corner of SH 121 and Alma Drive.

The Allen Community Development Corporation‘s board president, Matt Foster, described The Farm in Allen as an exciting and unique venue. Additionally, he pointed out that the new venue would provide a unique experience for residents of all ages in the city.

Development plans for The Farm in Allen project

The Farm in Allen will be a two-story venue occupying nearly 42,000 square feet in total. Additionally, guests will have access to an adjacent miniature golf space spanning over 25,000 square feet. The venue features escape rooms and a 24-lane bowling alley with Duck Pin bowling and virtual reality. It also includes axe throwing and laser tag arenas, a full bar as well as miniature golf. The project has an opening date set for late spring 2024.

The developer will also include 1.6 million square feet of office space in the later stages of the development. Other future plans for The Farm in Allen encompass a retail component, hotel, restaurants, townhomes, and 2,400 urban residential units. Additionally, the property will have over 2.5 miles of hike and bike trails and a 1.5-acre lake. It will also provide access to a 16-acre greenbelt along Watters Creek and four additional park areas. Parkway Construction is serving as the project’s general contractor, while JaRyCo is the master developer.

JaRyCo’s President Bruce Heller said their plan for The Farm in Allen development was to feature a diverse tenant mix. He also said the property was designed to provide new innovative options for Allen City and its surrounding communities. Heller was certain that the wide variety of leisure amenities and attractions on the property would offer something for everyone.
