The Parker, a 123-unit community  in West Los Angeles, has been constructed by Cityview. WPIC Construction served as the general contractor, Nadia Geller Design as the interior designer, and Labib Funk + Associates as the structural engineer, with AC Martin providing architecture services.

In February 2021, Cityview began building on the project. Yardi Matrix statistics reveal that the developer had acquired a $44.5 million construction credit from City National Bank prior to the groundbreaking.

The Parker offers studio, one-, and two-bedroom floorplans ranging in size from 452 to 1,110 square feet. Furthermore, 4,000 square feet of ground-floor retail. There are a total of 13 affordable flats.

Amenities at The Parker community complex

The 0.6-acre property’s common areas include a fitness centre, clubhouse, swimming pool, spa, and open-air cinema. Additionally, coworking spaces will be available. The transit-oriented community, built to LEED Silver standards, has energy-efficient HVAC and lighting systems, as well as cisterns that gather rainwater for irrigation, lowering water use by up to 60%.

The Parker, located at 5935 W. Pico Blvd. in the Pico-Robertson neighbourhood, is near to several food alternatives. West Hollywood and Beverly Hills are three miles apart, while LAX is nine miles southwest.

Cityview finished another Los Angeles neighbourhood earlier this year, adding 296 apartments to its portfolio, and commenced building on a 265-unit project scheduled to open in 2025. Belle on Bev, a 243-unit property nearing construction, is also part of the developer’s City of Angels footprint.

“Located in a highly walkable community near Culver City, Miracle Mile, Beverly Hills and West Hollywood, The Parker fills a severe gap in housing supply in one of the most vibrant cultural and employment centres of Los Angeles,” Sean Burton, CEO of Cityview, said in a statement.
