Recent highlights focus on the opening of one of NEOM’s most anticipated projects, Sindalah. Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman proposed the project less than two years ago. The posh island development is the first of the ten projects that NEOM is working on and seeks to unveil. “The opening of Sindalah shows NEOM is dedicated to supporting the Kingdom’s new era of luxury tourism,” stated Nadhmi Al-Nasr, NEOM’s chief executive officer. The Red Seas getaway has been made a reality by His Royal Highness Mohammed bin Salman’s imaginative leadership at this historic location. Moreover, it is a great input towards Saudi Vision 2030. The Sindalah attraction became the first area in NEOM to open to the public when it was formally launched last week. Located in the Red Sea, 5 kilometres from the mainland, Sindalah will occupy an area of roughly 840000 square meters.

Scope of work in NEOM’s Sindalah Project.

NEOM’s Sindalah project is anticipated to award a contract to construct the luxury south resort assets in its cluster five island resort. The tender was released in June, and bids must be submitted by September. NEOM reissued the contract to construct the project on Sindalah Island in July. This is a great chapter in NEOM’s history since they will be able to accomplish more of their lofty objectives. Visitors can get a “first glimpse” of what is ahead for this vast range of destinations and developments at NEOM’s debut location.  The island is among the first of a planned series of islands at NEOM.
