Key Investment Opportunities

The East Africa region has seen numerous positive results in its efforts to become one of the world leaders in the production of renewable energy. “Renewables represented 87% of the energy mix at the start of 2017 within Kenya,” ASOKO Insights, ARELS’ Intelligence Partner, reports. This, along with other encouraging statistics exemplifies why investing in the region is essential to producing a more sustainable tomorrow.

“We are proud to introduce the first Africa Renewable Energy Leaders Summit as a new dedicated platform for local and global industry leaders and stakeholders to network and discuss the future of renewable energy in East Africa.

The Summit will unveil the immense investment opportunities in this sector, further enhancing the development of Kenya and the surrounding region,” said Mrs Josine Heijmans, Event Director.

Moreover, ARELS will hold an additional avenue to facilitate networking opportunities among its guests. A safari networking event after the conference will take place showcasing the diverse environment only found in Kenya.

Organised by dmg events Middle East, Asia & Africa, Africa Renewable Energy Leaders’ Summit (ARELS) will take place at the Intercontinental Hotel in Nairobi on 4-5 April 2017.
