The “Intelligent Green Building – IGB” exhibition platform is an initiative introduced by Messe Frankfurt to meet the market demands forenergy-efficienttechnologies to sustain economic growth, competitiveness and environmental protection.This total solutions initiative addresses interrelated building technologies on heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, plumbing, lighting and LED, sun shading, solar building, building automation, smart home, energy management, data centre, cloud computing and more.
Occupying 40,000 sqm with more than 700 exhibitors, the 2014 Shanghai edition is the first to realise the fair concept of providing total solutionson building energy efficiency under one roof. The platform stagedfour building technology-related events:Shanghai Intelligent Building Technology, Shanghai International Lighting Fair, ISHShanghai&CIHE – Shanghai International Trade Fair for Heating,Ventilation and Air-Conditioning, and Building Solar China. Over 40,000 visitors from 63 countries and regions were attracted to the platform.
Additionally, with support from world-renowned industry organisations and governmental trade bodies, a host of seminars aimed at fostering knowledge exchange within the intelligent building industry were held.
