Air traffic demand in Africa is forecasted to grow by 7-8% each year on average over the next 20 years, doubling in size each decade. However, with the current capacity constraints, financing gaps and security issues, airport authorities and government are actively seeking solutions in a bid to become the hub of choice for the continent.
