The first annual Tanzania Oil & Gas Congress, taking place from 11 – 12 September 2017 at the Hyatt Regency, The Kilimanjaro, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, will explore the current issues facing the energy sector, highlighting the latest developments and opportunities for existing and new industry players.

The Congress will offer participants invaluable networking opportunities with Government representatives and industry stakeholders from surrounding areas including: Zanzibar, Uganda, Mozambique, Kenya and Democratic Republic of Congo.

Hon Sospeter M. Muhongo (MP), Minister for Energy and Minerals, United Republic of Tanzania will officially open the Congress and deliver the Ministerial Address on the plans and priorities for the Energy sector and share new opportunities for investment and partnerships.

The Minister of Energy & Mines, Hon. Sospeter M. Muhongo has formally announced his support and participation in the upcoming Tanzania Oil & Gas Congress, organised by the CWC Group.

The inaugural Tanzania Oil & Gas Congress is the only strategic event with official support from the Ministry of Energy and Minerals and the Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation.

Her Excellency Samia Suluhu Hassan, Vice President of the United Republic of Tanzania will also be in attendance, delivering the Opening Keynote Address of the Congress.
Also joining the senior level speaker line up will be Eng. Kapuulya Musomba, Acting Managing Director of Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation.

With a variety of issues facing the energy sector in Tanzania, the Tanzania Oil & Gas Congress is well placed to bring together existing industry players and international investors to discuss the following key topics:

 Government short-medium term plans and priorities for the energy sector
 Increasing Government and industry collaboration to drive the industry forward
