Helix Electric, a leading electrical contractor with over 3,000 employees and more than $1 billion in annual revenue, celebrated its 40th anniversary with an open house at its Goodyear manufacturing facility on December 4, 2025. The event welcomed employees, partners, and community members and included guided tours of the facility, showcasing Helix’s state-of-the-art prefabrication capabilities.

Opened in 2021, the Goodyear facility produces prefabricated electrical components designed to enhance efficiency and safety on Helix projects nationwide. The facility also serves as the hub for the company’s Arizona operations, managing high-profile projects including the Banner Health Verrado Clinic expansion, ASM’s Scottsdale Headquarters, CAVCO Modular Home Facility in El Mirage, and San Louis Hospital.

“Arizona has become a cornerstone of our national growth strategy, and our Goodyear team exemplifies the dedication and expertise that have driven Helix’s success for four decades,” said Boris Shekhter, CEO of Helix Electric Inc. “Prefabricating components in a controlled environment and deploying them to jobs nationwide not only improves efficiency, it sets new standards for the entire industry.”

40 Years, 40 Philanthropy Events

As part of its 40th anniversary celebrations, Helix launched a year-long philanthropy initiative, committing to 40 community service events across the nation. The Goodyear team kicked off the initiative with a 5K Walk to End Alzheimer’s on November 8, 2025.

“Our Arizona team understands that building strong communities goes hand in hand with building great projects,” said Jon Varner, Operations Manager, Helix Electric. “The enthusiasm our Goodyear employees showed for the Alzheimer’s walk demonstrates the spirit of service that makes Helix more than just a workplace; we’re a community that takes care of each other and our neighbors.”

Helix’s Arizona team will continue to participate in philanthropy events across the Valley, supporting local nonprofits and fostering meaningful change in the community. The initiative, ‘40 Years with 40 Philanthropy Events,’ is led by Helix’s Helping Hands, the company’s employee-driven giving group.
