Guinness World record for longest reign as the tallest building
From its construction completion around 2560 BC to 1311 AD, The Pyramid of Giza was the tallest building in the world. Lincoln Cathedral in England since replaced it and no other building has held the title for as long.
The World’s Smallest Skyscraper (40 feet tall)
J.D. McMahon raised $200,000 for a 40-foot tall skyscraper in Texas. He managed to hoodwink the investors and prospective tenants through marking the projected height in inches instead of feet (480”).

The Chrysler Building’s Spire Was a Secret during Construction
The architect responsible wanted to ensure his building ended up taller than Wall Street so he made secret plans to add a tip to the top at the conclusion of its construction. This made the Chrysler the tallest, albeit for 11 months before The Empire State Building took over.

There were over 12,000 people working on the Burj Khalifa every day. That is approximately one of 80% of U.S. cities who have a population fewer than 10,000 people.
