Adecco Group has finally completed a $6.2 million renovation project for its Adecco office in Jacksonville’s Southside. Therefore, the company is now ready to move from its former Deerwood South office space to this newly renovated complex. A ribbon-cutting event was also held recently, which had all Adecco Group’s Jacksonville-based employees in attendance.
The new Adecco office has been integrated into the former Florida Blue office complex; a campus that once housed several operations for Florida Blue insurance. However, the newly renovated 82,000-square-foot office only occupies three floors of the 6-story Building 800 at 4800 Deerwood. Adecco has leased the first, fifth, and sixth floors and placed its name on top of the building. But the third and fourth floors are still vacant. Danis Builders LLC was selected as the contractor for the project.

Designs for the newly renovated Adecco office complex
Adecco Group’s head of Recruitment Solutions, Laurie Chamberlin described the new Adecco office complex as a people-oriented space. She pointed out that the office spaces were designed with both staff and leadership needs in mind. Therefore, employees will have access to about 325 workstations, with extensive collaboration spaces in rooms and open areas.
The newly renovated Adecco office space will accommodate 500 employees and offers several eco-friendly elements. These include open spaces, healthy air quality, and lighting, among others. Additionally, focus rooms will be available for employees in need of spaces for calls or interviews. Other amenities include conference rooms of various sizes, seating areas with sofas and chairs, sit-stand desks, window counters, and other areas. What’s more, the office space also features two mothers’ rooms and two meditation rooms.
The ground floor of the Adecco office complex will have an Oasis food service area to buy grab-and-go food and drinks. Additionally, this area also features a large seating area and a colorful plant wall. The ground-floor lobby’s plant wall is the starting point from which the greenery grows until it reaches the sixth floor.
