Remarks on the project to connect seven communities to the national grid in Ghana
He said that by connecting the localities to the national grid in Ghana, it would build several economic initiatives. As well as boost the region’s academic performance. He reaffirmed his dedication to ensure that all villages in the constituency had access to energy by 2024.
He said, “Before 2024, I’m committing to putting all the communities in my district on the national grid.”
Mr. Habib Iddrisu warned the chiefs and citizens of the recipient communities to take good care of the power. He also cautioned them against using electrical wires that haven’t been given the Energy Commission’s seal of approval. Additionally, he asked locals to pay their bills on time to avoid having NEDCo cut off their power. This will help the power companies make more money so they could provide power to additional nearby villages.
Naa Amadu, the chief of Lingbung Yizhegu, praised the MP for the several initiatives he has brought to the area. He named a few of the developmental programs they had gained from, including those that involve their health and education.
