The groundbreaking for a 304-unit luxury community dubbed Alta Cypress Springs took place recently in Houston, Texas. The developer, Wood Partners, is building the new apartment within the Grand Parkway between US 290 and Interstate 10. However, this luxury apartment was designed to provide a new housing option for young professionals and families in west Houston.

According to the developer, Alta Cypress Springs will be ready for occupancy by August 2023. Bart Barrett of Wood Partners said the project will not only bolster their portfolio but also help alleviate the housing scarcity. Especially since Houston is one of the Sun Belt cities, currently experiencing rising residential rents and strong job growth.

The location of Alta Cypress Springs is in close proximity to several amenities such as parks and shopping malls. But more importantly, it also provides access to major employers in the area. These include Houston Methodist West Hospital, Toshiba, Shell USA, BP North America, Igloo, and Academy Sport + outdoors.

Development plans for the Alta Cypress Springs community

The Texas-based Design Balance architectural firm was responsible for the designs of the Alta Cypress Springs luxury apartment community. The 330-unit apartment community will comprise a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans.

However, all units on the property will come furnished with high-end finishes including stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and tile backsplashes. Other additional amenities include a full-size washer and dryer set, 42-inch cabinets, and wood-style flooring throughout the apartment.

Alta Cypress Springs will feature several shared amenities such as a resort-style swimming pool, dog park, outdoor kitchen, and fitness center. Additionally, residents will also have access to a club room, a business center with a conference room, and entertainment areas.

What’s more, all common areas will offer an urban living design, as well as the latest in audio/visual technology. High-speed internet hotspots will also be available on the property to ensure connectivity throughout the community. The developer expects pre-letting to begin by June 2023.
