President Buhari has described the Port Harcourt Law School, built, furnished, and handed over by Governor Nyesom Wike as a grand wonder, structured to be self-sustaining.
The expanded remuneration and welfare program for judicial personnel has also received the President’s approval for its immediate implementation. President Buhari said the project’s inauguration yesterday in Port Harcourt was a lasting tribute to Governor Wike’s dedication. To the advancement of law and development in Rivers State and beyond.
The President, who was represented by, Abubakar Malami (SAN), said, “I don’t need to use flowery language to adequately explain the magnificent beauty that is being built today. The cherry on top is that this facility and its cutting-edge amenities were planned by a man with a higher vision. Who is now affectionately known as Mr. Project to be self-sustaining through linked revenue sources.”
Other development initiatives expanded by Wike along with the Port Harcourt Law School
He claimed to be aware of Wike’s expansion of development initiatives into the neighboring Bayelsa State. Through the execution of multi-billion-naira projects, including the construction of a hostel with 900 beds. As well as an auditorium with a seating capacity of 1,500 at the Nigerian Law School’s Yenagoa Campus.
He added that this was in addition to the ongoing assistance of vital infrastructure given to federal courts in Rivers State.
He added, “In fact, the state government is making pioneering and unmatched contributions to areas that often fall within the purview of the federal government. Given his persistent support for Nigeria’s true federalism, Governor Wike’s dedication to these measures is easier to understand.”
The governor’s outstanding efforts, according to Buhari, have continued to enhance the rule of law and promote national development. Additionally, on behalf of Nigeria’s whole justice community and all who support justice, he praised Wike’s noble character and statesmanship.
