Plans have been announced for the development of Chartwell at Marathon and Chartwell at Watkins projects in Nashville. The plans were revealed by Chartwell Residential, a professional, independent Estate Agency based in Putney.

Chartwell at Marathon will be developed in Marathon Village while Chartwell at Watkins will be built in Watkins College. Both Marathon Village and Watkins College are situated in federally designated Qualified Opportunity Zones. These are distressed areas targeted for redevelopment, economic growth, and job creation.

Marathon Village is located on the historic Union Station Brick Yard site. It has been transformed into a thriving mixed-use residential neighborhood by significant mixed-use developments. These include Capitol View, The Nashville Yards, and now The Chartwell at Marathon.

On the other hand, Watkins College’s old structures are being replaced by high-quality housing units by Chartwell. Additionally, they will be an accessible, inexpensive alternative to living in the city’s core.

Features and amenities of the Chartwell at Marathon and Chartwell at Watkins developments

The Chartwell at Marathon will have a total of 388 apartments and 10 townhomes, each with top-of-the-line fixtures and appliances. Additionally, the building will have a luxurious pool, outdoor amenity area, tenant-shared workspaces and a cutting-edge fitness center. Moreover, it will feature a parking structure with more than 500 places, and roughly 10,000 square feet of rental space. The latter may be used for restaurants or shops.

Meanwhile, the Chartwell at Watkins is a residential building that is being created with EJF Capital LLC. It will have 377 apartments with upmarket appliances and finishes. It will feature amenities such as a tenant clubhouse, a state-of-the-art fitness centre, an outdoor pool, and a parking garage.
