Construction has broken ground at 126 East 57th Street on the ODA residential tower in New York. The location, which stretches from 56th to 57th Street, is intended for the construction of a 175,000-square-foot skyscraper. The façade of the cast-in-place concrete building would be pixelated with projections and recesses. Furthermore, nearly every unit would have a private outdoor terrace.
The residential entry will be located on 57th Street and will lead inhabitants into a six-story atrium with views of a lushly manicured courtyard through a copper mirrored gateway. Residents will approach the 28-story residential tower through a gallery that leads to the lobby.

The second floor is designed to contain a small, private lounge and kitchen that gives inhabitants an alternative to studying or working, as well as a cosy, furnished courtyard with a children’s playground outside, a shared greenhouse, and an outdoor amphitheater with a view of the main entrance.

Moreover, the 28th-floor penthouse apartments will feature private inside staircases that lead to their own roof patios. The inhabitants of the building will have room to grill and sunbathe on the shared amenity terrace on the top.
