The Department Of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT) and developer Miral Asset Management confirmed that the ongoing construction of the landmark Abu Dhabi Natural History Museum Project is scheduled to be completed by 2025 adding the works are progressive and at a steady pace.
Located within the emirate’s Saadiyat Cultural District, the megaproject which was was developed and conceived through a partnership between the Department of Culture and Tourism and Miral will feature a teaching and scientific institution, doubling up as an educational resource for learning.Â
Abu Dhabi Natural History Museum to provide natural history education for all
Once the building is completed it will feature immersive displays as well as curated collections of specimens. It will feature a display of some of the rarest wonders of natural history and provide a glimpse into an idea of what the future could be like.Â
The Chairman of the Department of Culture and Tourism, Mohamed Khalifa AL Mubarak explained that the Abu Dhabi Natural History Museum would be a home for natural history adding that it would tell a story of the universe through the featuring of the most incredible wonders that are known to mankind.

Mohamed further explained that the unlocking of millions of years of knowledge of natural history would help and contribute to the advance in scientific discovery. He excitedly said that knowledge of natural history has got the potential of inspiring children and generations to come to protect the planet’s future.Â
