Corinthia Hotels will develop its first landmark hotel and residential in Dubai after inking partnership with Dubai General Properties. This will be Corinthia Hotels’ first development project in Dubai after the previous was acquired by FIVE Hotels.

Located in Sheikh Zayed Road, the twin-tower Corinthia Dubai will stand at more than 500m high. This will plausibly see the name appear in lists featuring the “tallest buildings in the world” in the days to come.
The architectural style has been described as “distinctive” and “contemporary”. The two towers will be joined by a cantilevered sky lobby that is visible from both the south and north elevations. The sky lobby is almost similar to Sankari Place swimming pool design concept, but definitely distinct.
Corinthia Dubai will bringing the Spirit of Corinthia to Dubai, as described by Simon Casson, and this is set to transform Dubai’s skyline – a project tenet voiced by many. Simon is the CEO of the global hotel company.
Once complete by 2030, the 5-star hotel near Dubai’s Museum of the Future will feature penthouses with the views and elegantly furnished apartments. The views will include those allied to the first-lost residential development attempt in Dubai – the Jumeirah Beach. Also in good sight will be the tallest building in the world – the Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab, and the Sheikh Zayed Road skyline.
There will also be access to Corinthia Wellness, a next-generation spa by the company.
Both outdoor and indoor pools will also feature in the development plan. The private penthouse indoor pools will however be in select residences.
Ease of movement is another upside described by the client. In the strategic construction site, Corinthia Dubai can be accessed by up to 4 entry points off the Sheikh Zayed Road and other linking roads.
Corinthia Dubai’s masterpiece, its pièce de resistance, will be the record breaking world highest outdoor sky pool with a 360 degrees view from 500m above the ground.
The previous flagship project: Corinthia Hotel, now FIVE Beach
Corinthia Hotel in Dubai was the tagged name of the first development project. It was still under construction in 2021, after which FIVE Hotels & Resorts acquired it as FIVE Beach and scheduled for opening in two-years time. This added to its portfolio – FIVE Palm Jumeirah and FIVE Jumeirah Village in Dubai, and others in Europe.
The Corinthia Hotel would have possibly featured 227 suites, 102 residences, 7 culinary and entertainment areas, and a private beach if the sell-out was averted. These now feature in FIVE Beach.
Corinthia Dubai is expected to boost the city’s luxury tourism sector as well as its infrastructure landscape. As it is Dubai General Properties’ vision, Corinthia Hotels’ first landmark hotel and residential development will redefine the city’s skyline.
