Dubai’s government officials have greenlighted the construction of the highly anticipated Therme Dubai project. Once completed, it will become the Middle East’s first-of-its-kind interactive park and wellbeing resort. Also expected to be the tallest facility of its kind in the world, the project aims to integrate various aspects of well-being, including relaxation, leisure, healthcare, and family entertainment. It aligns with the UAE’s ‘Year of the Community” initiative, which shows Dubai’s commitment to enhancing quality of life and overall well-being. The project will be developed in Zabeel Park in collaboration with the private sector, represented by Therme Group. The contracted company is an international well-being leader renowned for creating unique well-being resorts and infrastructure. The estimated cost of $544 million will be funded by a consortium of local and international financing partners. The project’s completion is expected to take shape by 2028 and open to the public.

The project’s scope seeks to host up to 1.7 million visitors annually with a span of 500,000 square feet. Dubai’s ambitious project is designed by renowned global architectural firm Diller Scofidio + Renfro. The firm is renowned for its iconic and unique design, an aspect that is expected to be seen in Dubai’s monumental project.
