Mohamed Fettah, the governor of the province of Khenifra, recently launched the first phase of a project to rehabilitate the drinking water network in Khénifra in a bid to improve the conditions of access of the inhabitants of the commune of El Kbab to drinking water, following low rainfall, increased demand for drinking water, urban expansion, and degradation of distribution network infrastructure.
Financed by the Directorate General of Local Authorities, the project, the cost of which is slightly over half a million USD entails the construction of approximately 20 kilometers of pipes of different sizes and the connection of 2,000 families or its thereabouts to the drinking water network.
