Florida’s Gulf Coast will soon welcome a major new residential community with GreenPointe Holdings‘ groundbreaking on TurnLeaf, a 426-acre master-planned community in Charlotte County. The groundbreaking ceremony featured key members of the development team, such as Barraco and Associates for civil engineering, Lee Mar Building and Construction for site construction, and Gulf Coast Utility Contractors for undergrounds.
Strategically positioned west of Interstate 75 and US 41 along Burnt Store Road, TurnLeaf will be a standard bearer of modern living. The expansive neighborhood is designed to accommodate approximately 1,735 single-family residences with varying architectural features and lot widths of 40, 50, and 60 feet.
“Groundbreaking on TurnLeaf community marks the beginning of a new and exciting era for Florida’s Gulf Coast ,” said Jim McGowan, Regional President of GreenPointe’s Southwest division. “Our vision is to create a vibrant, amenity-rich community that offers an exceptional lifestyle. With its prime location, quality homebuilders, and well-planned recreational spaces, TurnLeaf will redefine resort-style living in the region.”
Age-restricted active-adult community
TurnLeaf’s master plan includes a dedicated section for an age-restricted active-adult community, broadening its appeal to residents of all age groups. Construction on the initial model homes will soon begin, with builder announcements to be disclosed in the coming weeks.
Residents of TurnLeaf will experience a luxurious selection of resort-like amenities, starting with a 5,500-square-foot Amenity Center. The facility will feature a resort-style pool, state-of-the-art fitness center, pickleball courts, yoga lawn, and outdoor dining areas. The neighborhood will also feature scenic walking paths, a playground, and a number of gathering areas to produce a lively and energetic neighborhood atmosphere.
Located in a desirable area, TurnLeaf will provide convenient access to the Gulf Coast’s famous beaches, as well as shopping, dining, and entertainment options throughout Southwest Florida. As the development progresses, the community is poised to become a significant presence in the area’s residential landscape.
