Hazoor Multi Projects Limited (HMPL) has revealed its plans of setting up 500MW Andhra Pradesh Solar Project. This solar project is expected to cost Rs 2,500 crore.

The company has already submitted a proposal with the state government to set up the project. According to the information that was revealed by the company, the project will be set up at an area of 2,000 acres in Prakasam district.

The AP government in a communication stated that New and Renewable Energy Development Corporation (NREDCAP) will facilitate the success of the implementation of this solar park project.

Additionally, the state government has also requested the company to submit its detailed project report (DPR) for the solar project.

HMPL is a company that is into renewable energy and constructing road projects on an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC).

In the previous week, the company made a foray into the domestic renewable energy sector with the development works of 1.2GW of clean energy projects spread across 4,200 acres of land located in Maharashatra.
